An ecosystem is an environment . In an ecosystem living and nonliving things interact with each other . Living things get there energy from the sun and living things get there energy from other living things . If something gets extinct in a food web then the whole entire food web will be messed up because its predator will have nothing eat and then it will die and then the animal who dies predator won’t have any food then die . Then that will keep happening . My food web is a desert food web .
Nathan – Nice work. Do you think you could add a title? I like your definition of an ecosystem.
Nathan- Great start. Your definition of an Ecosystem is spot on. I like how you gave examples for non-living and living things interacting as well as two living things interacting. Can you tell me more about how if one “thing” goes extinct how that will “mess up” the whole entire food web?

Dear Nathan,
I like you how you told us what a ecosystem is and that living and nonliving things interact with each other to survive ( I’m interacting with my computer).
