Rube Goldberg… From the Workshop!

People, I am going LIVE! The action is starting right now as I prepare to set up my first stage (of my RG)…

9 min in – I just finished unpacking everything! It was tough, because there was debris everywhere on the knock hockey board, and impenetrable rapping on my marble maze. But enough complaining about how hard it is to open things… let’s get started!

20 min in – YES! I just situated the last barricade for my first step! I trashed the knock hockey board and I now am keeping things simple, maneuvering on the floor. I now have to relocate it, to my newish plan( I had to do some space revision), and then my first step is set!

24 min in – My relocation plan is simple. I am just moving everything back a few feet. And I have some great news… My first step was a success! I lost a marble in the process, but now I can successfully guide a marble through a maze!

28 min in – Things aren’t going so well. My ball run is FAILING. The balls just don’t have enough force to continue along the path. I am stressed. How am I going to get this to work?

38 min in – It’s getting worse and worse. Nothing I try is working! Everything is failing! The tennis balls can’t even push balls their own size. I’m going to be forced to improvise.

49 min in – YES! Things are going much better. I decided to stick with the primary foundation of my old design, but make some huge changes. Currently my plan is: a bouncy ball will roll into a tennis ball, rolling into another tennis ball, knocking over a trail of dominoes, which will do something to a marble, and then I’m not sure. I guess we’ll have to see…
