Capstone: 2017 CapCon Share *COMPLETE*

After weeks of preparation…

After so much hard work…

And after a bunch of other hard stuff…

We completed Capstone by presenting our projects to the parents. I think my presentation went very well. But before I tell you how that went, I should talk about the panicked dress rehearsal.

For my presentation I needed a balloon, so my Mom got some before the day of the presentation. But the balloons turned out to be water balloons, which are almost impossible to inflate. So when the day of the dress rehearsal came, we needed a balloon, but no one could blow them up. So when the presentations started, I didn’t have a balloon. I had less than 15 minutes to find one. Thankfully Mr. Borgia came to the rescue and I got a balloon. Now back to what happened on the big day.

When I started my presentation on the big day, I couldn’t have felt more confident. I felt as if something had clicked and I know dominated the stage. It was my presentation. It was my time to shine. And I intended to make the most of my presentation!

And I did. Before I knew it, my time was up, and the audience broke into applause. I was elated. The audience had laughed at my jokes, they had been engaged, it was more than I ever could’ve hoped for. Now I would like to thank the people who made this all possible.
