When I was watching videos from logging in the early 1900 hundreds I learned that red woods can grow to be 40 feet wide and live for 2000 years! I also saw that logging involved a lot of team work and dangers such as cutting a 350 foot tall tree down with the possibility of it crushing you. I also saw that many more people were involved in the early 1900 hundreds than there are today. Also today the machines are faster and way more advanced. I wonder how these machines lift tons and tons of wood all at once?
