Hello! It’s been awhile since we’ve been at school, and I highly doubt that we’ll be going back concerning the present circumstances. So as Corona conquers the Earth, I’ve been at home relaxing. I’m also trying my best to distance myself and/or protect myself from people if I do decide to go outside/go somewhere (ex: mask, gloves, etc).

Fourth Week Reflection
I think that week four was pretty fun. I am almost done with my box, but have not finished it yet.
Third Week Reflection
Looking back at week three now that we’re done with it, I think that it was pretty fun! I really enjoyed sawing the wood in half, aswell as creating a box from scratch.
Week Two Reflection
Being done with week two of technology, I think that it’s been fun so far. I think that the Tinkercad design project was fun! I also think that the role of being a builder was fun, aswell.
Exploring Wood Tools
Awhile ago in technology, we learned about wood tools and certain sizes aswell as different screws. I noticed that only some screwdrivers go with some screws. Some screws had different ridges. Only some screwdrivers fit in some screws.
Tech Outro
This is my final blog post for technology, since it’s about to end. There’s less than a week left of school. I think tech was fun and that Mr Calvert is a nice teacher.
Automata’s in Tech
If you don’t know what an automata is, it’s basically mechanics. We made some in technology and I already finished mine.
Cutting Pipes
In the flashlight project, in order to get the correct “flashlight size”, you had to cut pipes and measure them. Beforehand, we had to make graphs (of course). One time, I was helping someone cut a pipe, and I actually cut myself. Not on the saw, no, but on the pipe itself. I liked cutting the pipes, though.
Technology “Progress Report”
This progress report is basically going to be about my favorite and least favorite thing about technology. My favorite thing so far, I’d say, was the flashlight project. I really liked that project because I like being creative and learning how to wire stuff. My least favorite thing of this quarterly is the blog posts we have to do. Although I like typing and writing, I think it’s sort of hard to come up with a topic for a blog post.
What I Learned While Making a Flashlight
A couple things I learned while making a flashlight is that wiring and stuff can be difficult and needs some patience. I also learned a little bit on how to wire stuff. The soldering I already knew how to do, but I learnt more about it due to this project.
