Science

Today in class we conducted 3 experiments. We were mixing colored sugar and different liquids. They were water, vinegar, vegetable oil.

My group and I are going to make are hypothesis for each experiments. The first experiment we did was vegetable oil and colored sugar are hypothesis was if we add the color sugar to the oil it would turn red or pink. My group and I tested it out and are hypothesis was denied what happened was the color sugar sunk to the bottom of the the cup. The oil and the color sugar separated and that oil did not turn red or pink.

Are next experiment our group did was water and color sugar our hypothesis was that the color sugar will dissolve and the water will turn pink/red. Our hypothesis was correct the sugar dissolve very fast and the water turn pink.

The next experiment we did was color sugar and vinegar. Our hypothesis was if we added sugar it will have a reaction to the vinegar and bubble up. Our hypothesis was denied what happened was it reacted that same way as the color sugar and water did which surprised us because we thought that it would simmer up.

I learned a lot today in class. One of the things that I learned was that every one has a different chemical reaction!
