Rube Goldberg – Nicole knows It all

Today was the last day to work and let me tell you is was the most stressful project I have ever done. My team and I stared to make sure that all of are ramps and bored are all secured. We stared to put all of the pieces we all on the bored. Then we tested it and it didn’t work so we had to figure out ways that we can make it better so we called one of the parents for a minute or two to help. It took 64 try’s till we got the treat to go into the bowl. The first thing we noticed on the project that was not working it the pulley had to be adjusted in a way that I won’t make the marble got off our board after we made a lot of changes and it was so stressful thing but after all of the hard work we finally made it in. My team and I later had to make a video at school when we finished the video we where so glad to be done. I loved this project and it was such a good experience!!

Rube Goldberg #5

Today me and my group work really hard but we made a lot of progress. Today we set up the ramp and put are first wood boards, after that are group started to us the material that are around us like we used a egg that was fake and we took apart a a doll bed for the wood boreds. My team and I started to test out what we build slowly and slowly. We figured out that the peg bored that we used did not have a lot of room so we had to strategize ways that everything can fit. When we did most of are sketch On the peg bored so we decided that we test what we had so far and it worked!! I was really happy that we had came all this way in one day.

Rube Goldberg #3

Today me and my group made another plan and got so much work done. We where so worried that we where behind in the building process so we got together.The first thing we did was take apart a toy car ramp to make a ramp, I know it sounds funny but trust me it will be great. My team and I had to figure out strategies because it was a little to heavy, then we came to conclusion the it was to heavy to hold with a glue gun so we took a peg bored hook to hold some of it up but the top of the ramp came down so we put a paper towel roles to hold it up. I think that this time we got a lot done and I hope to get more done next plans we make!

Rube Goldberg #2

Since my last blog post my group Alba, Sabrina and me have came a long way. The goal of our project it to try and get a dog treat into a dog bowl. So far me and my group made a amazing sketch, our group have some materials like pipes,wood. We are trying to work really hard and make the best decision for the group. I am really excited for the dissing part!!

Rube Goldberg #1

It started right before lunch on January 28th, Ms Boyer gave us an assignment to design and build a Rube Goldberg Machine. She said we can pick our partner but all the girls had some problems with picking partners. Eventually we made our decision, and our group is Alba, Sabrina and me. The next day we made a play date at Alba’s house to do our sketch. We did not get much done so at school we had to think of things to do.On the weekend we made another playdate and that time my mom helped us do a lot of it. Our goal is to try and get a dog treat into the dog bowl.
