I have a lot of hobbies.  For instance, I love spending time outside where you can do all sorts of things, including making believe you are characters, running around and playing tag, and enjoying nature.  I love lying in the grass and climbing trees in particular.  Another hobby is acting.  I am currently in the school play, Peter Pan, in which I get to play four different parts.  I love acting because you get to really let your creative side loose, and show parts of you that sometimes aren’t as obvious.  For instance, I love being crazy, singing and showing off fun costumes.  Also, being on a stage in front of people is exciting.  My final hobby is reading.  I like to read all different types of books, long and short.  What is great about reading is that you get swallowed up in a great story that you just can’t wait to finish.  And then when you finish, you want to go back and enjoy it all over again.  There is nothing as great as a good, new book.  My mom says my love of reading will last a lifetime and I know she is right.  Hobbies really add to my life.  They let me express and explore all different parts of my personality.  Thanks for listening.
