Today, I practiced using scientific tools to measure how high objects are, and to measure how far away you are from an object. One can use a measuring device, called a Trundle Wheel to measure the distance between two objects. I used a clinometer to measure the angle of the imaginary triangle between you and the object you are measuring.
You can then find the height of the object by doing some mathematical equations involving Trigonometry and/or Pythagorean theorem.
You can use a Trundle Wheel to measure how many meters away you are from an object. It Is basically a wheel with a handle on it. Every time the wheel spins around once, you have traveled a meter.
