Circuits

This past Friday on 9/28, we worked with circuits. We made two different types of circuits – series and parallel. A series circuit is very simple. You have one battery, an LED, a switch, and a few wires. You have to use and combine

them to make a circuit. The switches were cool because one of the wires are touching one end of the switch and you have to close the circuit by bringing the top part of the switch down. This circuit uses Direct Current (DC) which has low power and which Thomas Edison used a lot. The experiment ended up lighting up two lights very simply. Overall, I think that this was a fun activity and I hope we do something like this again.
