False Fire Alarm

Screaming. Running. It was late September when a fire alarm went off at 8:30 AM everyone was so confused, Some were screaming, and lots were running. “Everyone stay calm and get in line!” yelled the teachers. But no one listened. Instead, kids formed groups and talked about what was happening. Some said they smelled smoke,  And some thought it was a drill. But then everyone sirens then the sirens stopped. The firefighters inspected the building and the loudspeaker went on, It said: “You may now enter the building.” Everyone entered the building and it was like nothing happened.

Touch Down!

It was lunch recess at Heathcote Elementary in early November when Sydney and some fifth-grade kids were in the middle of a football game. All of the kids looked so competitive. “HIKE!” one of the fifth-grade boys yelled. The ball flew across the field to another boy “PASS!” Sydney yelled but no one did. The player got tagged with the ball in his hands “Give me a turn with the ball!” yelled Sydney. “ If you were open I would.” moaned one of the players. “HIKE!” yelled one of the players. This time Sydney was open, and the player passed to her, she ran down the field with the ball in her hands. “TOUCH DOWN!!!!” Everyone yelled. Everyone was so happy for her. The player who didn’t pass to her said: “Wow that was amazing!”

My Expert Book – The Amazing World of Niagara Falls

I wrote about Niagara Falls. I chose this topic because I just went on vacation there and it was beautiful, so I knew it would be great to write a nonfiction book about it. When I wrote this book I learned  a lot about different text structures, expert words, mini story’s, introductions  and conclusions and even more.

My book is called “The Amazing Niagara Falls” here it is…

Reflection on Persuasive Writing Experience

I learned that to make a persuasive essay you need to use strong words such as you should, I believe and more strong words like that. I also learned that you can’t be wishy washy.  Wishy washy is like using words like you could, maybe, and I think. I also learned to use examples and good punctuation.During this unit I also learned how to paragraph.I learned how to persuade people to do what I think.

After watching my video I felt like I could of looked up at the camera more, spoken louder. I think I persuaded my audience because I used strong words. And I did not use words like you could and maybe and I think.I also should of spoken more confident so it would persuade them more.

Great Wolf Lodge

“Mom,”I said in the morning. “When are we going, when are we going?”

“Soon sweetie,” said my mom in the morning.

I was playing on my ipad when suddenly my mom said, “Breakfast is ready!”

I raced myself downstairs and I looked at my plate.

I gasped,  “It’s RICE KRISPIES!” my favorite cereal. We all brought our bags down and got in the car. I made a huge yawn.I was really excited.

Boy,I really needed food. Finally we got there. We waited till our friends got there and the fun has begun! I got on Coyote Canyon. I was really nervous.I got on the tube then it started to get super fast then it shot down like a bullet and I really screamed.

“AHHHHHHHH!” and then it went round and round I tasted salty water in my mouth.

Then it slowed down.I saw so much beautiful colors like blue and yellow stripes. Then I started splashing. While it was spinning I was thinking about what I would tell my mom after the ride. Then I shot down the hole.I was so happy that I was of  the scary ride.
