In class we are reading the book HOME of the BRAVE and got asked to answer this question, Gol is a cow, but Katherine Applegate (author of Home of The Brave) also uses her as a symbol. How does Gol represent Kek’s past, present, and possibly his future:
I think Gol represents Kek’s past because his father use to own a farm and herd cow. So when he was in Africa cows were his life like he was always with them. Gol Represent Kek’s present because he still loves cows because of when he lived in Africa he was with cows a lot. Also Gol gives Kek a little of his old life. Also Gol represents love for Kek. How Gol represents Keks future is that Gol keeps Kek happy because Kek feels a little of his old life when he was at home. Gol also represents Keks past because he use to heard cows in Africa.
