Static Electricity

Everyone reading this Has probably rubbed their head with a balloon and had their hair stick up or walked across a carpet and gotten shocked after because you touched a doorknob and that is because static electricity. It’s simple you basically steal electrons form the material you are rubbing it against. Some materials give up their electrons up willingly while other don’t as they move around it. Wool and felt give up their electrons easily, rubber balloons and  plastic overall take electrons easily. So basically static electricity is the transfer of electrons from one material to another, Per say. But what If it could be used to make electricity? But to be honest I don’t know.
