Plastic bottles are made from PET, bleach containers are made out of HDPE, and plastic bags are made from LDPE.
The properties of PET is standard for plastic consumption bottles because the plastic is very food safe and is hard enough to not be flimsy.
Bleach containers and laundry detergent containers on the other hand, use HDPE, since it is resistant to corrosiveness, in which bleach is, and it is also hard and rigid, since who wants a floppy bag of bleach?
Finally, Plastic bags are made from LDPE since they need to be flexible and flimsy, so storing them would be more efficient.
