  WEEK AT A GLANCE

Dear Colleagues,

Thanks to everyone, Open House was a wonderful success on many levels. Your classrooms looked amazing with the early imprints of the children’s learning lives on the walls and bulletin boards. Parents listened intently to your presentations and left with a great degree of hope and inspiration. This is a significant milestone in the school year as we take on the next phase of learning. Awesome job everyone!

Even with the break we had in the middle of the week, I hope you take time to rest after an intense work week.

Warmly,
Sharon

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Lockdown Feedback – Our first lockdown was very successful. We were joined by three officers  from the Scarsdale Police Department who reviewed our practices and protocols.  We learned a lot from our discussions and will share some ideas with you at our next faculty meeting. In the meantime, here are some things to practice:

  • All staff members should practice locking the doors to your rooms so that you know without any doubt how to lock your doors.
  • When locking a door, try the knob/handle on the outside of the door to be sure it is actually locked.

Substitute Teacher Folders  – Please complete and turn your folder in to Resa by Friday 9/28. Thank you.
