WEEK AT A GLANCE
Dear Colleagues,
What a special treat it was to have the performance this morning by artists from the New York Chinese Cultural Center! Hearing the expressions of awe from the children made it even more special. Thanks to the Cultural Arts Committee, Helene, Shoshana, Christina, Shelby, Elizabeth, Sharon and parent Xue Su for planning the wonderful events we have had so far this year. I think it’s quite deserving to say, “Hǎo.”
It’s not too late to say Happy Chinese New Year – Gong hei fat choy! The festival starts on February 5th and ends on February 19th. It’s the year of the Pig – a symbol of wealth and good fortune.
Have a lovely weekend.
Sharon
