Dear Colleagues:
What an amazing day, our Superintendent’s Conference day was! Ann Marie Nee, in her speech, provided wonderful insights into the history of the STI and celebrated the early trailblazers who laid the foundation for this incredible institution. It was a proud moment that solidified our commitment to ensuring the continuation of this model of self-perpetuated professional learning.
Our thanks to all the amazing presenters and to Caren, Collette and James, our GA colleagues, who led sessions during the day. The performance by the Music Department was spectacular and we were all delighted to see Chris, Enrique and Lindsey in concert. What a special treat it was. Topping this day next year will be difficult, but knowing the degree of talent and professionalism in our schools, I am confident there won’t be a problem doing so.
Thank you all for being present and for the tremendous support you gave your colleagues.
On Monday, we celebrate Veterans Day! While enjoying the gift of a long weekend, let’s also remember our veterans for the incredible sacrifices they have made and continue to make for our freedom and security. Have a wonderful weekend!
