Dear Colleagues,
With the luxury of the two-week-long holiday break comes the challenge of adjusting to a full work week. It was great to be back, but for a lot of us, getting through the week felt like walking uphill. The good news is, its Friday and we all made it through. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, sleeping late and enjoying the 60-degree weather promised tomorrow.  Soo you at our Faculty Meeting on Monday, followed by another fun session in the GA Construction Course with Carole.
Best to you!

 Sharon

ANNOUNCEMENTS

STAR Assessment: Please note that the Winter STAR window opens on January 14th and closes on February 6th.

Furniture Selection: Our visit to the Pocantico Hills school was incredibly helpful in guiding us as we engage in the furniture decision-making process. Please be sure to have discussions about your preferences with your grade level teams in preparation for meeting with Tracy Hansen,  one of the architects from BBS, on Friday, January 17th.  Tracy will visit K-5 classrooms to see your current layouts and you are invited to join her for further discussions. Please click the link for the schedule (draft) to make a note of when your class and your grade levels are scheduled.   We are expecting samples of the 3,2,1 tables to be delivered so that you may actually take turns trying them out in your classrooms with your students.
