Anti- Bullying Assembly – Wednesday, April 17th in the Gymnasium.

K-2 @ 9:00 a.m. 3-5 @ 10:00 a.m.

The show consists of two parts:

Part 1: The presenter uses lasers to discuss different bullying topics with the students.

Part 2: Lasers and music with positive messages are used to reinforce what has been taught.

Artist In Residence Program: On February 29th you received an email with a draft of the schedule for our Artist in Residence Program with Amy Vanderwater. Included in the email was also a request for feedback. Please take a look at the schedule if you did not get a chance to do so and let us know if there is a need for any tweaks. Amy is looking forward to joining us once again!

REMINDERS – Important Dates

GA SPRING PARENT COFFEES

Grade 4: May 20 (Jeremy)

The coffees begin at 9:00 a.m. in the OMPR. Classroom teachers should join the group at 9:30 and can expect to be present for 20 – 30 minutes.

Please be prepared to do the following:

Highlight areas of the curriculum you feel are important or exciting for parents to look forward to. You are not expected to give a detailed overview of the curriculum as that is reserved for our Open House in September.
What are the major shifts in expectations between the current grade and your grade level – including expectations for independence and taking responsibility
