Today in Class we had a  special guest come I named Monica and she taught us about recycling and how we can help pollution at least as far as plastic bottles go.

For the first activity we got a piece of of tin foil and we were asked to create something that we could wear what I created was a shoe a surprisingly it was pretty comfy but would not be sustainable for a shoe but some of the other successful items were

  • Hat
  • Gloves
  • Ring
  • Yamaka
  • Gloves
  • Etc

But after we made these items we were asked to make a gift for a partner my partner was Sam and what I made him was a slightly deformed yamaka and he gave me a yamaka that was not deformed some of the other items were

  • Ring
  • Friendship bracelet
  • Gloves
  • Air pods
  • Swords
  • Etc

This activity was probably my favorite activity because it made you think outside of the box and for me that was not as hard because I saw how much Sam enjoyed wearing his so it made me think why not give it a try. Our third activity was we had to make a tool that could be used to sort some recycling I made a spoon which was not bad except it was not super sturdy so it was a little difficult to get it to take bottle caps out and getting the nails out was especially hard because it was so flexible (it eventually worked). Then after we had done it with our table we moved into bigger groups with less tools for this activity my partner was Izzy and we used her scooper do get all the caps Izzy’s invention was better that mine because it was a lot sturdier than my flimsy spoon so we were able to collect the caps with no problem but as we got closer to the finish line our scooper started to break and it kept getting harder to get the bottle caps but we fished and like every hero says the box is safe from clear bottle caps once again!!!!
