Today we learned how to use a Clinometer and a Trundlewheel! A Clinometer is used to measure. It can measure moving objects, and ones that don’t move too. We will be using a Clinometer to measure our rockets when we launch. A Trundlewheel is aswell a measuring tool, it is used in an easy way to find the rough distance from one place to another.
In the picture, there is a chart from earlier where we tested the tools out. We measured a moving object (a soccer ball being thrown up into the air) with a Clinometer. On the other hand, we also used a Trundlewheel to measure on how far apart the two sidewalks were.
