Remember on my first post when I said I think Ortiz shouldn’t retire? These are the reasons why he retired and my opinion. he retired because, well, baseball is a game of reflex and at 40, time to stop MLB. Another reason is he suffered a lot of injuries. He was never super fast, but at 40, when he hit a grounder, he barely makes it to base.

I think he deserves but i want one more season. Hear him argue one more time. Next generation will only have videos. All americans, (even yankee fans/players)want to see hime at bat for one more season.

We should take what he gives and give him the rest(even though he’s doing commercials) he deserves.
