It was a cold winter night when my family and I went to Hibachi. My brothers, my mom and dad and I had to wait thirty minutes for our table. While waiting, I was playing on my Ipad. I was playing a game called “Drive Ahead.” My mom and dad were looking at their phones while my brothers were playing on their ipads too. We were all very bored waiting.
All of a sudden, a lady called our last name which meant our table was ready! I was so excited but hungry at the same time. As soon as we sat down, I immediately asked for appetizers. We ordered two orders of edamame. While we were waiting for the servers to bring our appetizers my brother told some funny jokes about my other brother. My brother was really sad and started crying while my brother and I laughed. My mom felt bad but my dad was laughing too. So my mom hugged my brother and gave him a kiss. My brother felt better and made fun of my bigger brother. My big brother pretended to make a sad face.
The chef finally came over. He asked for our orders. I wanted chinese chicken. As he was cooking, he did a few tricks! He shuffled knives and did a lot of chopping. My mom and dad ordered shrimp and my brothers ordered chinese chicken like me. We also got some water to drink.
Then it happened. The chef cut an onion. He started with the biggest part of the onion. It was weird. Then he put the biggest part of the onion on the bottom. The biggest piece was HUGE. After that, he put the smallest part of the onion on the top. Next, he speed walked to the kitchen. He came back with a lighter and lit the middle of the onion on fire! It was like a fire breathing dragon. It was the most amazing but scariest restaurant I’ve ever been to. I wanted to see it a thousand more times. I was amazed by the onion fire! I couldn’t wait to go back there again!
