on I finished my flashlight now I took a picture of the flashlight and and my diagram and I am extremely proud of myself and am super happy to know that I can make something that sounds so complex and I really hope I get to do something like this in the future.
on Today, we learned how to drill the holes in the flashlight that will be the switch and the Light. I drilled both of my holes and I am now getting ready to solder my wires so I can finally finish this super cool flashlight. It is a super cool experience and I can’t wait to see my finished project.
on Today, we learned about these kids that went into a cave during monsoon season and the cave flooded when they were in there so they were stuck. When people found them they had to find a way to free them, there 1 problem was navigating through the cave because the water water was impossible to see through. So our job is to make a flash lights to help see through the water and help them save the kid.
on To start off the creation of our flashlights we first learned what the problem was and what kind of flashlight are needed to suit the murky water. We need to make water proof flashlights that are small enough to fit in a small box that is 7 1/4, 6, 6 1/4 inches cubed. Its need to be that small because the diver needs to be able to hold it with one hand and it also needs to be light so the divers won’t have a problem holding it. Now we are starting our drafts for or flashlights and I hope mine will suit the needs.
on Today, I soldered for the first time. It was super ool learning how to solder and how melted metal can act like a glue. And I learned how to make a basketball using solder and now I have a super cool looking pendant. In all, it was an amazing thing and I want to do it a million times more.
on Today, we made lights using programming. it was super cool learning how to put wires in certain places to connect and turn on the lights. in all it was super cool learning how to do basic programming and hopefully we can do more advanced programs which will be super cool to learn.
on Today, we started making our pendants, we started by using a cylinder piece of wood and wrapping a piece wire around the cylinder therefore making a circle piece of wire perfect for a pendant or a amulet. Also soon we will start soldering Five pieces of wire to the pendant making a picture. ( I’m doing a basketball.)
on Today, we learned all about the world of atoms. We learned about protons and electrons and how protons and electrons attract, and how two electrons or two protons go away from each other. We did a experiment by causing friction by rubbing cloth against a pipe, and then putting that next to a tinfoil pipe caused a tinfoil leaf in a glass jar to shake.
on Hello, today I will be talking about Breakout edu. Breakout is a educational teamwork activity, in breakout you look for clues and try to solve the puzzle. In this case we were working on a multi lock puzzle. there were three locks, one, there was a directional lock. two, there was a five letter lock. and three, there 4 digit code lock. for the five letter lock I actually solved this lock by looking at the, “Safety is the first priority.” And the next two were solved by Ryan and Rori. In all the breakout edu session was very fun.
