We recently recorded voice overs. Kenneth didn’t want to be narrarator but Rush and I both wanted to be narrarator so we did a coin flip 2 out of 3 Rush ended up winnig so he got to become the narrarator. The movie came toghther pretty well. There was some fighting and some problems along the way but we got over them. The movie in the end turned out really good but we did have a little trouble while recording voice over. It is very hard to hear but at the begining the other group across the hall was really loud and they kind of but not really screwed up our voice over. It turned out pretty good however thought.

Today I learned how to use a Greenscreen on imovie verion 10.0 it was really fun. Basically you have to open imovie go to crome select an immage drag it out onto desktop, drag the photo ontop of your movie. Go to adjust and change greenscreen settings from cutaway to blue/green screen. Once you get it all to work its so cool. With greenscreens you can create the eloution that your flying, that your in star wars, that your a fantasy world with wizards and dragons. With greenscrenns you can create any eloution. That is why I am telling you how to acsess it.

Yesterday we had a snow day! it was so fun. I didn’t really do much. I just went over to my friends house played knee hockey ate popcorn watched a movie & ate brownies. The brownies tasted funny. I watched the movie parental guidance but then got bored and started playing H-O-R-S-E with hockey. I ended up loosing but it was still fun. My little brother and his friend wanted to watch the sponge bob movie but me and Sam didn’t want to so we went down to the basement to watch parental guidance. That’s how my went.

I really enjoyed our newest and most recent expert lecture. A woman named Jackie came in for our most recent expert lecture. She was from Curios On Hudson. She came in and told us about herself and her hobbies and activities that she enjoyed doing. For example of that she told us how she was really into Harry Potter. She taught us about her job being a mechanical engineer. But my favorite part was when we made kazoos out 2 rubber bands 2 popsicle sticks 1 sheet of paper and 2 straws. She also taught us about vibration. I really liked expert lecture 5 🙂

Harley and I recently have rebuilt our entire Rube Goldberg! We got it to where we were before hunter destroyed it but we are making it longer. Instead of the golf ball hitting and knocking over the tower we realized that the golf ball doesn’t have enough force and power to knock over the tower so we set up a few dominoes instead of the tower. We are brainstorming ideas on what we can do with the dominoes.

This is my first Rube Goldberg post and this is what my machine does. We have on of those circular swirly marble maze pieces taped to the desk. We will drop the marble in it. The marble will swirl around and go thought the opening at the bottom where we taped a card board tube. The marble will go through the tube witch where we set up dominoes ( jenga pieces ). The dominoes will rap around a chair and the elevate by going over video game boxes that we stacked up. It will go onto a container flipped upside down and then the dominoes  will nudge a hot wheels car. The hot wheels car will then speed up do a loopy loop. After the loopy loop the hot wheels car with all its momentum will come out of the loopy loop and take a mid air jump hitting a golf ball where the car lands and the the golf ball is on a slanted hot wheels track. The golf ball will pick up momentum and hit the miniature tower with a dog treat on top and knock it over because we have placed a dog bowl behind it so I and Harley’s final goal was to put a dog treat in the dog bowl. But unfortunately Harley’s older brother Hunter got mad for no reason at all and destroyed everything. Harley and I are hoping to rebuild it today.

I thought garage band was cool because I desovered all these new and cool hidden tricks and features. An example of that is I messed around with the settings on the piano and it made this weird but cool sound.

I liked studying dvorak. And I also like listening to his jaws piece. I thought it was really cool when all the instruments clashed it sounded like an argument.

On Friday Rushes dad (Mat Schwartz) came in and talked to us about the Supreme Court. He was a clerk for Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alto. Right now Mat is a lawyer. He didn’t really talk to us about being a lawyer but his experience as a clerk working Supreme Court for a justice. He had talked to us about some of the cases that he had experienced while clerking. We also took this little quiz on the ares that he covered. I really thought it was interesting how the Supreme Court works. He also told us on how we had nine justices but recently one died so we only have eight justices and they can tie on a case and the ruling from the court below will be the decident. I really enjoyed rushes dad coming in on Friday. What I really thought was cool was that there was a Supreme Court case in Scarsdale. It was about churches putting up giant Cheshire in the middle of the town. The town told the churches to take it down because it symoblized that the town was christian but there are so many jews in Scarsdale. The church refused to take it down so the case went all the way up to the Supreme Court. Eventually the church won the case. In conclusion I really liked having Rushes dad come in on Friday.

It was mid noon. The stakes were high. It was me and my cousin Issac against my brother and my two other cousins. We had the unfinished basement and they had the playroom. We were going to attack like this , There was a hallway between us and two doors to the playroom. I would sneak in through the bathroom entrance and Issac would stand out side the main entrance hidden behind the wall when I yelled go we would storm the base and attack it was all so simple we put the plan into action. But that’s where it all went wrong.

We sneaked out of the main door quietly and headed for our positions but that’s when we herd ATTACK! Me and Issac looked puzzled as we turned around to see my brother and my other cousins shooting at us from behind the couch. They had hid behind the couch and now we didn’t know what to do. We quickly took shelter behind the kitchen and we decided that we were just going to go out there and shoot every last bullet we got. We jumped up and the war truly had begun…
