WEEK 3 ON LIMA BEANS
Introduction
This is our third week on lima beans. We have three lima beans growing one controlled and two manipulated.They are all in a zip-loc bag and with three growing in each bag.
Controlled
Our controlled plant is okay. Two out of the three lima beans is growing upside down and so it will not grow because the roots will have no water. Our other one is growing like a regular plant so it is very healthy.
Manipulated(no sunlight)
Our no sunlight is not growing because plants need sun to be healthy because sun gives it water then inside it makes sugar and that is the plant’s food. Plants need the same things as we do:food, water, and air.
Manipulated(no air)
And finally we have no air but actually it is not bad it looks like a good and healthy plant. It is long but it will get trapped because the bag is closed so it will not be able to open the bag with a really light plant.
Conclusion
Week three on lima beans is going great hope we have more next week!

This week is our third week on plant unit. Our kinetic sand got thrown out because it wasn’t going to workout. Plus, our no sunlight died. So now we have a controlled plant left. After our pollinating our plant changed. All of the flowers fell down, but that was normal and part of the cycle. Then we saw seed pods. The seed pods were long and wide. Our biggest plant has about 10-12 seeds in it. Our largest seed pod has about 1-16 seed in it.
Our third week was much different than all of the other weeks because of the petals that have fallen down and because of the seed pods.
