5th Grade Volleyball Game

It was recently announced that the traditional 5th Grade volleyball game is Friday! Since kindergarten I have been looking forward to this day. What we do at this game is, all the available 5th graders play in a volleyball game against the participating teachers! We split up into 4 teams, one team per class. To tell the difference between teams and be spirited and make it much more fun! Our classes color is red, and I was really excited that we got this color because red is a really bright and vibrant. I REALLY love to be spirited and go crazy with my costumes, so of course I have already picked out what I am going to wear!

I really hope that the kids win (even though it is just for fun) because the kids have not won in 15 years! So maybe this year will be our year.

Yours truly,

Very Vanessa

Paradise

The plain ride was so long, it was really boring till I had the best view I have ever seen. I thought for a minute I was in true paradise. I felt like I got blinded by how sunny it was, in what like to call paradise.                                                                                                                                           Once I landed in “paradise” I felt as if it was warmer than summer because it was 9o degrees, it felt even warmer than it was because in NY it was mid-winter.

Later in the day, we got back to the hotel. The hotel was another reason I called it paradise. It was luxurious. It was all squeaky clean and shining white. The hotel was cozy and the workers and the people who were at the hotel at the time also. The vibe was just  amazing because it was relaxing and everyone loved the weather (well from what I saw).

There were so many activities that kept you excited. Activities that I did were: Para-Selling, Banana Boating, Swimming with sting rays, and so much more. The activities were never ending because I could never wait for the next day.

The minute I found out that I had to go back home was the worst moment of my life. When I left I felt like there was a new part of me, because of all the memories I made but mainly not the memories I made but the memories my family and I made.

This morning when I woke up I heard a ding I checked my phone and read “Were going to Caymen Islands for December Break”. I can’t wait to go back to paradise.
