Last year in Mr. Calvert’s classroom there were a lot of rules because there were many dangerous machinery that could harm us if we were not careful. A lot of the rules that we had to follow last year are still relevant. For example no running is a very big rule that still applies because there are more dangerous tools like saws that we could bump into if we’re not careful. There is also the rule of tying back long hair, but before in sixth grade I only had to do that once, but this year I feel like I will have to do a better job of remembering that rule and always wearing a spare hair tie around my wrist. Safety glasses are also very important in being safe, and I have to make it a habit of automatically wearing safety goggles if I know that I’m going to be using a machine that could be potentially dangerous. I’m very excited for Tech this year and I can’t wait to see what we do next.
