When looking back on this year, there are many things to remember including everything we learned in tech. We learned about plastics, metals and many other materials. It helped me expand my vocabulary in a war never seen before. I wish we could be at school so we could actually build something using the tools but besides that tech had helped me a lot. I’m gonna miss the class and I hope I can learn more about it in the future.
My thoughts on the current situation is mixed because we all care about the justice about George Floyd. On the other hand, people who don’t care about it are taking the protests in a way to spread terror and violence. I wish we could go back to the peaceful protest we once had besides the true violence that is happening in the current time. Other things like Trump’s tweets or guns are really making the situation worse. Lots of cities now including NY city now have curfews to try and prevent more violence. Some people don’t realize that these protest are ruining lots of businesses. People are now stealing very expensive items from stores like TVs and phones. The government had been warning the people about the violence but I fear that people wont listen and this will eventually lead to violence between the government and the innocent protesters. I hope this can die down.
If I realized that there was a place to recycle my plastic, I would always try to get there to the hardest extend. There might be a few times where it’s not possible to but it’s important to try and recycle as often as possible. It would require more patience and if you see a true importance in nature. Plastic is very harmful and if there something to slow the harmfulness down, we should all do it no matter what were doing.
Some of the conclusions that I see about the different types of plastic is that lots of plastic is different. Many people also don’t realize that there are different types of plastic. Everyone just think plastic is a material used for lots of items. I saw lots of number 2 plastics and number 1 were the most popular. My pile actually had no non-labeled items which is very different than others. Lots of pros about using plastic is that most things are reusable, some of the cons are they kill millions of animals every year. Some properties of plastic are

I’m am going to talk about the modern technology known as AirPods, AirPods amaze me because of many reasons. I don’t understand how you can hear something form a different device without being connected, it doesn’t make sense to me. I wonder how they can also put a little mic in the device also, and it isn’t even that crazy of a price to many people. It acts like a very good source of confidence because of how it looks on people and they feel more connected when wearing AirPods. I also like how other companies are taking the time to recreate and improve a wireless earphone for more causes. Many wireless EarPods have crazy features like clicking the AirPod and the song pauses or holding it down and skipping the song. All of these features make the AirPods truly a important and crazy invention.
The quote I’ve chosen to write about is “Oregon Forest Law requires us to replant the site within two years and it needs to meet “green-up” standards by six [years]. I believe that when harvesting or cutting down essential parts of a life like a tree. The requirements should be to replant every single tree that was cut down. People risk many animals including humans when cutting down trees, they should be held accountable for their actions and need to re-plant every tree they cut down. For a person to cut down trees for their benefit means they have to re-pay nature and the rest of the world for what they did. We need to save the trees and connect as a union to save more trees and keep our earth healthy.
I believe that there are more boys than girls who speak up or un-mute themselves during zoom questions because they are less shy and more inpatient. They want to know immediately without trying to problem solve on their own. On the contrast, girls might be more patient and wait to figure out if it is really a certain problem that need questioning. The girls email more because they wait till after the zoom to try and problem-solve. I think boys are just more commonly out there as girls might be more shy or patient. This is only sometimes and there are many different scenarios where its the opposite. There should not be stereotypes for what gender does what but there is a certain way of figuring the general trend of things.
Technology is usually viewed as a digital aspect of life, but If you think more about it. You can sometimes realize that there more to the category Technology than you think. I was introduced to Technology in 6th grade. I was asked to plan, use and make a functional flashlight. I used soldering machines, saws and pipes to create the structure for the flashlight. I also had to use many different wires to get the light actually working. It was hard but fun and after the entire project, I felt very accomplished and more outgoing in life as a human. There is much more to Technology than we think. I felt more independent and I am very exited to learn and build more this year.
The Corona Virus (Wuhan Disease) is believed to come from a local Wuhan Market. The market sold a giant variety of wild animals such as culinary delicacies or used as traditional medicine. These wild animals are considered a tradition and trade to the people even though it could spark a global Corona Virus like now. Big cities like Hong Kong have denied entry from anyone in the last two weeks from Hubei. Wuhan and many other cities in Hubei have been shut down completely to prevent a further outbreak in the virus. The suspected virus is traced back to a Bat corona virus that started earlier in 2002. Some others believe that the virus also come from snakes but many disagree, for the virus Is unlikely to transfer into reptiles and mammals. China is likely to have these disease outbreaks because many Chinese markets and stores sell all different wild animals like deer or crocodile. This leads to a high possibility of an outbreak. The locals there admit they love to eat wild animals, for it tastes amazing to them. Many of them have stopped eating the animals because of the virus.
I believe that this virus is a global threat to humans. It spreads like wildfire while also not having a direct cure yet. Many wild animals carry diseases like Corona and people do not realize the danger they are taking by eating these wild animals often. China needs to control its regulations by checking if these animals are safe and clean. I also think that China will be able to control the virus until it eventually dies down again. I have been to China many times and there are hundreds of small markets in every city selling these animals. Even myself has eaten these animals on a daily dinner in a market. This shows how common these animals are in China. I hope China can figure a way to end the virus and control its animal consumption.
