Rude Goldberg #1

At school, we started a project called Rude Goldberg. Rude Goldberg was a American cartoonist, sculptor, author, engineer, and inventor. He is known for using different complex steps to result in a very simple task. We were allowed to work by ourselves or with up to three people. I first started with three partners but soon we realized we had different schedules and it wasn’t going to work. So we split into two and two. This allowed us to have more free dates and less arguing. For our project, there needs to be at least 8 different steps and the video can only be 5 minutes. Me and my partner, Ben have had 2 meeting and have finished our sketch.

Rocket Presentation Reflection

Today my rocket group presented to our parents. I think every group did very well. The three groups that went today were, Rockets, Inc, Radical Rockets , and The Rocket Crushers. My group was the Rockets, Inc. I was nervous going into the lab but once I settled in, I wasn’t as nervous. My group went second after the Rocket Overview Group, we each had our own slides for our presentations. After our presentation I asked my mom how we did and she said,  “I liked your presentation style, very relaxed and calm.” We are excited to see the remaining groups, Rampaging Rockets and The Flying Savages,  go tomorrow. The Rocket Overview group started today’s share and they are also presenting tomorrow,  to tell the different parents about our Rocketry unit. Here is my Pretension:

Book Clubs : Blackthorn Key – Jot 1

I think the list is precious because it has Master and Christopher code. I also think it was smart to rip it out before they found out. Lord Ashcombe wants to get info about Master Benedict from Chris so he is letting him stay while all the rest left. But there is one Question, who killed Master Benedict? I think it was Stubb who killed Master Benedict because he burned him before and because Chris and Tom planned to knock off his Oak so everyone threw fruits and eggs at him. I think Stubb Works for the group that wants to kill all Apothecaries. This scene is Crazy.

NBA Playoff Prediction

The NBA is a National Basketball Association. There is a preseason where you play 82 games and based on your record you are put and seated in the postseason (playoffs). In the postseason the 1st seat plays the 8th seat, the 2nd plays the 7th, the 3rd plays the 6th, the 4th plays the 5th. In each series you have to win 4 games out of 7. For example you win the first game and they win the second it is 1 – 1  and it is first to win 4 games. The most intense game is when/if it is 3 – 3 in games, you go into a game 7 where whoever wins moves on. Your record is based on your wins and losses, the first number is your wins and the second is your losses. Here are the NBA standings so far. (Top 8 seats will probably make the Playoffs.)

NBA 2K17

I love basketball and video games but you know what’s better? A basketball video game. This game is based on the NBA (National Basketball Association). According to how good the player is, the game shows the player overall. 65 – 99 is the range of overall. There are different tiers of level. 65 – 69 is bronze , 70 – 74 is silver, 75 – 79 is gold , 80 – 83 is emerald, 84- 86 is sapphire, 86 – 89 is ruby, 90 – 92 is amethyst, 93 – 98 is diamond, 99 is pink diamond. (Amethyst, diamond and pink diamond are for pros.) Pink diamond are so rare, about 2 – 3% have a pink diamond.  Pink diamonds are only given out to you for collecting enough cards or a twitter code. Players like Kobe Bryant, Wilt chamberlain, Jerry west and Michael Jordan are pink diamonds. There is a kind of card called Moment. It is when someone plays so well so they give him a better card. For example Devin Booker is a 79 gold but when he dropped 70 points they gave him a 97 diamond?. To learn how to play and which modes you can play watch the video below. To get cards you need to buy packs, to buy packs you buy them with MT and then you can get cards. You can also buy cards on the market with MT (money in 2K17). ▼

Book Clubs : Loser – Jot 1

Donald Zinkoff is a weird student because he does not notice everyone hates him, he just says “OK” or he just walks away. For example when he got an A on his test (he has bad grades) and everyone was congratulating him but he didn’t realize they were doing it because he was so dumb that he actually got a A.  Everyone else accept Donald has power. Donald does not have power because he is such a weird student that everyone tries to avoid him. For example when there has a field day (races) he was put on purple but the purples didn’t want him and when he went to another group they said “no”. This shows that Donald has no power in school.

Star Girl – Jot 1

I think star girl has lots of power because she does thinks that are totally different and everyone is entertained by it. For example about 15 people went to the football game but that game she has dancing and other many weird things. The next game 1000+ people came and at school the cheerleader captain asked star girl to be a cheerleader. Since she is so entertaining everyone looks forward to school! She also does not have any struggles because she is different but she does not notice it like when everyone stares a her she does not notice. I also think she is a school scam because the school wanted more people watching the football game so they could make money.
