I love softball!!!! I play 3 or 4 times a week and I will be doing it 4 to 5 times a week when rec starts. I am very good at first and third base, but I need to work on my pitching. My pitching is pretty good but I still throw some balls. I think i’m pretty good at third base because I can block a steal and I caught one pop fly and one line drive mid air at the same game. I’m also good at first base and left field. When I am up to bat my skill depends on the opposing team’s pitcher. If the pitcher throws low strikes and balls I’m not to great, but if the pitcher throws higher and the middle I consider myself a single and double hitting girl. If the pitch is low I usually get walked or I strike out. My team is pretty good we have lost 2 games and won 6. Our coach is named Dave but we call him Scags. Scags has us do a tournament warm up every practice and we have a chance to win ice cream or candy from the magical amazing shed. The tournament warm up starts with ground balls, then goes to line drives, and ends with pop flies. We win candy often which i think means were pretty good at what we do. Anyway to conclude I think that softball is an amazing sport with hitting, stealing, leading, fielding, catching, throwing, and much more.
