My book is called “Danny the champion of the world”. It is written by Ronald Dahl and illustrated by Jill Bennett. The book is published 1975 and it is 196 pages long. It’s about a boy named Danny. One autumn when Danny was five he was still helping his dad to fix cars or give gasoline to cars. His father was a mechanic and knew that Danny needed to go to school at the age of five. He said I’ll keep you for two more years and by then you should know how to take a small engine apart and put it back together. Two years later he did. One night Danny woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t find his father in the caravan. So he took his blanket and went outside. A couple hours later his father came back. He asked his father what he was doing and he answered that he was pouching. A couple weeks later the father left at dinner time to go pouching. He said he will be back by 10:30. When Danny woke up his father wasn’t there. Danny did know how to drive but he took the car to look for his father. The next time Danny asked his dad to go poaching his father said yes. Danny got an idea what if we put some of that medicine that doc Spencer gave you. Good idea said Danny’s father. I’m at the end of the story mountain the problems have ended and the solutions are just beginning. Every story has a story mountain. It helps to visualize the story. With the help of Charts I have been learning how to focus more on the roles of the characters. It also helps me to understand how stories are build.
