Personal Narrative Reflection

I enjoyed writing personal narrative stories because it was improving my typing skills! It was challenging for me because sometimes I had no idea of what to write about. I chose my story because the story I wrote about was a fun thing that happened to me and I couldn’t think of anything else to write about.

Writing the heart of the story was really easy. Because all I had to do was find the main part of my story and the main part of the story was basically on the cover!

I thought the revision process was amazing because I felt like it was so easy to just rewrite from my draft!

Typing is fun and really exciting for me because I like improving my typing skills and I like challenges.

The Statue Of Liberty

“Dad is so slow!” I heard my older brother say.I estimated that dad was five feet

Behind us as we were running and were afraid that we would be late. And we were also so sweaty that we were boiling our skin off and I was definitely going to be happy when we were going to be in the boat where the sun would be off are tracks.

When we finally got to the boat I was jumping with joy! It wasn’t even a little bit hot! There were also two floors on the boat! It was kinda hard to go to the  second floor because the boat was moving so we had to hold on to the rails. At the top there was a snack bar! I was so hungry too!

We could hear the splashing of the sea as the boat went through the water below us.The type of boat could probably be a yacht because it looked so modern! We finally saw The Statue of Liberty! It was so cool but we didn’t really get to go inside it. But it was still fun!

It was really big from up close and lots of people were pounding out of the boat but some people like us stayed on the boat and we didn’t go on Ellis Island[ by the way Ellis island is the island where the Statue Of Liberty is.]  I wondered a lot of questions on the way back home.     On the the way back home we saw jetski people and we waved our hands the signal of hi and the jetski people waved back and it was really fun until we had to get off the boat. I complained to my parents

”I don’t want to leave!” but they said

“We have to give other people a chance!” and I  asked my mom and dad “Can we at least go to jetski here one day!?” and they exclaimed

“yes.” and I happily went off the boat but as we got off the boat we saw a huge surprise!   We saw cone’s and lots of people were surrounding and then we saw someone going in the cone’s and then they said in a microphone ‘

“Why are you so far away from the cone’s!? Come closer!” And then they picked some volunteers and guess what!? My BROTHER was a volunteer! I was so happy for him! And some hooligan people were the host who backflipped surprisingly over my brother! And at at the end we got ice cream BUT I saw another ice cream truck that sold that looked so much more delicious and tempting and looked way better then the other ice cream that I just ate :[  and I just did a sad emoji because my mom said that I couldn’t get another ice cream but my dad said I could and when my mom said I couldn’t my dad automatically listen to my mom. But my dad explained

“Maybe we can come here again to get ice cream.” and of course after school started we actually could go because there are tickets there and the ride is like two hours. That day was probably the BEST DAY EVER!!! And it was a day I will never forget. Now I’m going to relax my hands. Wait, no, never mind. The end!!
