“Hi Benjamin Boykin!” my classmates said. Benjamin Boykin is the Chairman of the Board of Legislators. Have you ever met him? I have!  In this blog post, you will learn about my classmates and I talking to Benjamin Boykin and how the Legislative Branch organizes and holds their meetings. Two things I learned from the Legislative Branch of the country government was how they organized their meetings and how they held their meetings in the Conference room. For example, their meetings are so organized by their chair telling them if it’s yay or nay. Another example is, how their meetings are in the Conference room, the chair person makes sure everyone gets a chance to talk. Two exciting things I enjoyed about being the role of a legislator is being able to speak in the microphone and talking to Benjamin Boykin. I liked speaking into the microphone because we got to say what we thought about the subject we are debating about if vending machines should have candy and chips. Also I  liked when we got to speak to Benjamin Boykin, because we got to take pictures and talk about the facts of the Legislators. It was very interesting. Now that you know all about what I did on my field trip and meeting Benjamin Boykin, Now maybe you can meet him too and learn a lot from him!
