First Week of School

Beep beep the alarm goes off. It is the first day of fifth grade and you don’t know who your  teacher is. If this is your situation, you better read on. You will learn What I Enjoyed This Past Week and Why and  What I Looking Forward to This Year and Why. You might really enjoy this.

There are many things I enjoyed about the first week of school, like the fours fours challenge. It challenged me to do the math equation. It was also fun. I did not finish it but when working with my friends I did. It made it easier.  Also, I enjoyed learning about the three branches of government which are, legislative, judicial and executive. So if I am in the government, I know what to do. Let’s hope that I will be president one day. Finally, locker signs. It was a way for me to be creative with my favorite colors: orange, blue, and yellow.  I made patterns with shape and lines.Of  course my name is on it in big letters and little letters. And this is what I enjoyed.

There are many things I am looking forward to this year in fifth grade. For instance, I am looking forward to the Halloween party because my birthday is a few days after.  I can’t wait to wear my great costume. It is classified. Also ,I am excited for the volleyball game because I can’t wait to beat the teachers. Finally, I am excited to go to the Bedford ropes trip and climb on a school day.

Overall, That is what I Enjoyed This Past Week. It was a great first week.  I can’t wait to share about the classified costume and when we beat the teachers in the volleyball game. Also, if I make it back alive from the Bedford ropes course. What was your year like in fifth grade? I hope we have an amazing year.
