My teacher Mrs. Rickard assigned me a topic hurricanes then I got a subtopic which is effect then I did research on the effect of hurricanes for about 2 weeks. I read books using epic and other res courses like brain pop to research. I also wrote all of the research down that was the most important on paper so when it comes to write my script I will have all my research.

Then I wrote a narrative with all the research I want to say but it was not exactly what I was going to say because that is a daft of my script.

Then I wrote a script on google dogs which had what I was going to say and what they were going to see. Then I practiced my script with a timer. Then I edited my script to make it a little shorter so after that I practiced again with my new version of my script it only can be 15 seconds per slide each. Then I made a google slide which had number 1 and number 2 and times up! Then we had to memorize it so we used the google slide we made to practice. We practiced at home and at school until it was exactly 15 seconds each slide and 30 in total.

Then we put the slides together with the people in my group Which are Zoe,Andrew,Juan,and Aanya. So we practiced together on one Chromebook. Then the whole class put the slides together and we practiced in front of the class.

It was hard because we had to memorize everything and do a lot of research and write a lot down.

I liked learning about hurricanes effect because I got to learn all about hurricanes and the damage that they cause and I liked working in groups because we did not research and stuff like that together but we did other stuff together.

Something that was easy is probably the research because most of the books had a section all about the damage of hurricanes so it was easy to find all the research.

I would change nothing because I liked the way I had my script because I don’t think it was too long but not too short also the amount of research I did was a good amount I think because I had some extra research but I also used a bunch of it.
