I read the article, “Curiosity can drive people to try some yucky things.”  This article is about people doing weird things because they are curious.  People of all ages are being curious.  A little kid wanted disgusting jelly beans and adults were getting shocked by pens.  I chose this article because I am always very curious and I wanted to see how other people act when they are curious.  I am thinking that people are curious and risk their lives because curiosity can end up good or bad, so they are hoping it will turn out good.  I think that is pretty interesting.  I am getting to be curious.  What do you think about this weird, but interesting topic?   

The 2017 Australian Open took place January 16 – 29.  In the women’s final, Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams competed against each other.  Serena won the match with a score of 6-4, 6-4.  I am wondering if they fight at home after they compete.  I am noticing that this was Serena’s 7th Australian Open title.  That is a lot of tennis!  I also think that it would be fun to play against your sister, but it must also be really hard.  They are sisters who love each other so it must be hard to try to beat each other.  However, it must be fun to hang out together a lot and spend some time together.  I wonder how they feel.  How would you feel about competing against your family member?
