About two weeks later I started working more on my Rube Goldberg machine again.
That was because the deadline was coming soon and I didn’t realize that until my mom reminded me.
So, we spent a long time and finished it all in one night. There were many times when either the project exploded or it didn’t work out and I built it the wrong way.
It seemed like hours when we finished building the project. It was made mostly out of Legos. It took a really long time to build the 4×4 long towers because we didn’t have any 2×4 pieces for it to build. I and my mom took a long time building them. But at last, when we finished them, I realized we could’ve just used Duplos, those giant Legos but two times bigger. And since we had those small square ones, they could be used for the towers.
I felt really stupid.
Now we had the whole machine, and we could film our epic fails! It only took about ten tries (about meaning: I didn’t record all the tries), and I was happy I finished. There were a few times where either my voice was really messy, my brothers were screaming in the background, or we just didn’t record it. There was actually this one time where we didn’t record it and it was a success. I didn’t want to be proud of that. But anyway, here’s the video
*video*
It took about 3 days making the video, and it turned out pretty great. But I made this blog post about a week later because I was too lazy. This took about 20 minutes in total, and I was grateful.
I thought the machine was pretty fun to build in all, making the sketch and building the actual project despite all the horrible failures.
