After I got an interview, we started working on the real project. By this time I decided I was going to pick to make a movie. It was way easier- think, in a cap- talk you have to memorize the script and when you do that- when it’s cap day, the recording is going to be terrible. At least you can record it at home with a better microphone and not need to memorize it, obviously it’s a lot better. Well, you might think, “Slides are easier to make.” That’s the sentence that my brain thought of that drove me crazy. But, for nearly the whole rest of the school year, you are working on cap, right? Also, you can’t record in school, so when you’re done with your slides what do you do then? [iq moment]
We took a few Tech lessons about how to make movies and slides again, even though we made three movies the past half-year. They also told us how to use Google Tools to find Creative Commons licenses and about copyright- issues. They could’ve just told us to use them for the video- slideshow, no what- ifs instead of giving two whole classes about copyright.
So, the day before the cap was due, I finished the recordings. The movie was done beforehand, unlike our last project (rube goldberg).
Then, we presented to the class a couple trillion times and we finally decided we were ready for actually presenting cap. All you have to do is stand there for our movie, no stress, no pressure, unlike cap- talks. But, unlike everyone, I don’t think my movie is superior.
