A computer teacher since 2001 and the Head Computer Teacher at Scarsdale Middle School since 2012, Doug Rose has also taught English at Scarsdale Middle School and Scarsdale High School. Doug teaches the Grade Six Computer Technology quarterly, where the curriculum focuses on computational thinking using the Scratch platform, Google Sheets, Swift Playgrounds and other applications.
During his career, Doug has developed innovative computer projects using multiple applications, including tools for online assessment, research, and literary and cultural analysis. He has developed a number of comprehensive administrative solutions using database and spreadsheet applications.
