Board Of Legislators

Have you ever wondered what the inside of the building of the Board Of Legislators looks like? If you are going to the board of legislators, you will see automatic doors, you will see carpets, paintings. A security monitor will tell you and guide you to places and talk about it. There even is a special gift when we leave, that we will talk about later. I had many fun things I did on the board of legislators trip. 

My three favorite things from the Board of Legislators were speaking in the microphone, meeting Ben Boykin and getting the certificate.

My first favorite thing in the Board of Legislators is that I got to speak in the microphones about my opinion .For example,I was talking about a bill about if I could put a vending machine in the school and put some candy and potato chips in it and more junk food. I to believe that you have to ban the bill because the janitors are basically doing more jobs.

My special thing that i also like is meeting a real legislator named Ben Boykin.The best thing I loved is that I got a certificate signed by legislation signed by real legislatures! Is my favorite memory of fifth grade.

`One thing I learned is that there are 17 districts for a reason.Its because there won’t be a tie of voting if there is a odd number.The most surprising thing i get to see the conference room and did not realize what it would look like,it was very fancy and we got to eat mints. I also learned that there are about  20,000 people in scarsdale. I learned many things on the board of legislators trip.

In conclusion, I had had so many favorite parts in the trip. My top favorite thing was getting the certificate.I learned so many things. For example, there are about 20,000 people.

Do you wonder what it’s like in fifth grade?Lucky you this is the best place for you to read

 

I loved the index card challenge because i loved how to make a stabilized index card platform and the best part was i was fun staking them, it was intense and has many feelings like such as relieved.The reason is let’s just say that i was stacking the index cards, i thought that if i place a index card on top of the indexes cards, the whole entire thing will collapse and i was thinking of “no no no, please don’t fall!”.Another thing that i did was doing art in Mr. Bentley’s Classroom, it happens every week for art class. The reason is because I like to be creative and draw things that I’m passionate about such as drawing self portraits. I also loved read alouds. The book is called The Boy Who Harnessed the wind.Its because i like the part where the boy went to the junkyard and got the materials to build a windmill.He did not fail.Thats the reason why i loved the read aloud.

 

Im looking for doing Hotdog field day because i love hotdogs because i love the sausage mostly and also, there’s activities.One day went to nature center and made a fire to cook hot dogs in the fire that’s was in a stick.It was better than any other hotdogs that i ever had.I ate 2 hotdogs.I wish i could eat the same type of hotdogs every day. The reason why I am looking For hot dog Field day is because hotdogs.

 

In conclusion, if you were wondering about what it’s like in fifth grade, then you might find awesome activities. The bad part is that you have to do boring subjects, but sometimes in the boring subject, there’s a twist to it and there will be awesome things in the subjects.
