I accidentally stepped on one of the already glued together pieces and had to re glue it but now I am back on track.   I took my project home to work on it there and added everything but the carts on.😀

i cut out all my pieces and am ready to glue them together.  one of my favorite parts about cutting was when we used a tool that cut half way into the wood making it easy to break like a kit kat.   i used this tool a-lot when cutting out the small one inch pieces for the carts.

my plan was approved for making a small wooden ferris wheel.  It is going to be  8 inches tall and you will be able to spin like an actual ferris wheel.  it will have tiny 1 inch carts attached to in and the base will by 5 by 5 inches.

We are now making our on projects in tech.  Something that we have to do before the cutting and gluing is making a plan.  on the plan we have to write how many pieces of wood we might need and how big they need to be.  once our plan is approved then we can start making our projects.

During tech this year we have learned tons of interesting things about wood and saws.  one of the saws we learned about in class is the bow saw.  The bow saw has 4 teeth per inch an is used to cut tree branches.  The bow saw is a blade with big sharp teeth on it that go in different directions,  its handle is shaped like a bow thus the name bow saw.

This is the last week of tech and i am really sad, but I had a great time these past 10 weeks
