I read a NewsELA article about a man who voted from space. The article is called You Don’t Have To Live On Earth To Vote. This is how it happened. About 15 years ago a man was in space and didn’t get to vote because he was in space. At mission control the idea of voting in space was great and governor at the time, George W. Bush of Texas, signed it into law. To learn how to cast the vote keep reading the article to see. I chose this article  because I think it’s interesting that you can cast your vote outside the planet and then say, “I voted from space.” I’m noticing that you get an email from your county and vote in email. After you send it back to your county clerk and he or she will cast your ballot for you. I think that this is a great idea because it give a chance for astronauts to not miss out on the privilege of voting. I’m wondering how Wifi is available in space because you need Wifi to open emails so where is the Wifi? I’m thinking that the ISS uses satellites instead for reliability.
