Passion/Compassion Project Blog Post #2

For my passion project on making jewelry with wires, beads, and crystals I will be reaching out to tutorials and websites on how to make jewelry and what material I will need. The resources I will use for making the jewelry will be getting beads, wire, and all of the materials I need from a store and from some of my left over wire from past projects. So then I will get it down by getting all the materials and watching some videos/tutorials on how to make the jewelry and start to make the jewelry.

Passion Compassion Project Subject

For the passion compassion project my passion will be doing jewelry making such as bracelets, necklaces, and rings. In chose this topic because I always liked making jewelry for myself, friends, and family. It also is something that I could do in my free time and something that always made me feel joy and comfort. So this is why I chose this passion.

If any of you were wondering what is a maglev train is let me explain. A maglev train is a train that has no wheels. It only levitates. They levitate by the magnets repelling. They repel by (south-south)-(north-north). Our groups idea of making a mini maglev train is by putting (south) magnet strips on the the track and south ring magnets on the vehicle.

So when we put down the strip magnets on the track it wasn’t really repelling. Well we fingered out we should put two more strips so then it will repel better.

The experience was great! Everyone was focused on their work and it turned to be very good and it was levitating. It was challenging a little because the magnets were always attracting when we were taping the strip magnets on the track. Then we finally put the strip magnets down and we got it.
