Capstone Interview Reflection Blog

For me, it was hard to find a person to interview because I never really ever had an assignment before to find a person to interview about extinct animals which is my capstone project. Soon I found a person to interview on a website called outschool. When I interviewed my person it didn’t take long to get all the answers written down. My interview had really given a lot of facts that were the stem of my project, so without the interview, I wouldn’t be in a good place right now. I hope this will show you my steps of how I got my interview done.

My Reflection On My Wevideo

In my opinion, the wevideo was hard but fun! The hard part was forming the answers from the interview into a script that was supposed to be 3 – 4 minutes. It was difficult because  I needed to expand the answers from we video and make them into actual sentences. Another hard part was finding the right pictures online because some of the pictures did not go with my words. Even though it was hard it was also fun because I got to learn more about my mom and how she even got to New York. Another thing that fascinated me is how my mom had to afford a life in America, and how after all of that she ended up here in a nice house with 3 loving children.

Reflection on my Interview

In my opinion, my interview went smoothly. Though when I had to make the questions it was a little hard because I had to cover all the bases without going over the limit of questions. Also, I think if I were to redo the interview I would take away some close-ended questions and add add-on questions, and I will probably make the question give more information by making them longer by mixing two questions into one. Also, one thing that I learned was that immigration has developed over time in a good way. So overall I had some difficulties, but mostly the interview went smoothly.

Reflection On My Research About the 1st Amendment

In my opinion, the hardest part of researching is finding the websites to research on. It was the hardest part for me because some of the websites had nothing to do with my question. Even though it was hard I was motivated to find some websites. I had to dig deep to find some websites so I found two websites that gave me great information.

Why I Chose The 1st Amendment

I chose the 1st amendment because it starts you off with the main rights everyone should have, religion, speech, press, assemble, and petition. My question about the 1st amendment is how did the amendment resolve problems for the people.  I chose this question because I want to know where would we be without the amendment, and what problems would we have.

Should The Electoral College Be Changed?

In my opinion,  there should be no change to the Electoral College. The Electoral College is another way for a Presidential Candidate to win the Presidency.  It takes 270 votes from the Electoral College or the Popular Vote to win the office of President.  If one candidate has taken over the Electoral Vote,  the other candidate can still win by Popular Vote.

Native Americans Project

This is my 4th grade Native American project. I worked on this project for 3 or 4 weeks. This project was very fun to do and and was a little challenging. So I hope you enjoy and get inspired in this slide show on Native Americans.
