Today begins, officially, the e-learning experience for Scarsdale public schools. While this won’t be an easy time, our students, and staff, are well prepared for this. A lot of what we do on a day -to-day basis involves technology and online tools. The downside to this, of course, is not everything we do is digital. Without question we feel most the absence of contact with each other; our classmates, friends, and colleagues.
Heathcote students and staff digital experts, we’ve got this!
As always, this blog and the HeathcoteGateway, are available with resources.
The HeathcoteGateway is what the students are most familiar with on a day-to-day basis. The Gateway has links o the online platforms we use, directions on how to access them, tutorials to troubleshoot issues, and a Resources page.
Teachers are sharing Google Docs with lessons, folders with activities, posting assignments in Seesaw and on their blogs. Follow those guides and use the Gateway as your entry point to this new frontier of e-learning in elementary school.
