If you are wondering, why would our class make an arcade? Well it all started when we a substitute teacher…

 arcade inspired our class to do our own arcade. We have at least 5 games in our arcade. One game is fiki football. The object of the game is to flick a little cardboard triangle and try to get the fiki football in the basket. Another game is skee bal. The point of the game is to role the ball up a cardboard base and try to get the ball in one of the holes. There are 5 different holes. Two of them are 5000, one is 500, one is 100 and another is 50. The main builders are Me, Charlie, Jared and Lee. Another game we have is called wack a moll. You have to hit the moving ping pong paddle with paper balls that are filled with clear tape. Every time you hit the paddle, 5 tickets. The main builders are Emily, Natasha, Tessa, Jane, and Hope. Another game we have is called ball drop. When you play, you have to drop the ball on the styrofoam base and try to get the ball in the cup. One of them is a jackpot cup. The game is still being worked on. We are using battery’s, styrofoam, and a plastic tube. Me, Brian And Alex K. made the tickets for all of the games. Alex worked on the cutting and used thick paper and cut it into squares. Me and Brian wrote the numbers. The numbers we used on the tickets were 1, 5,10,15,50, and 100. Brian and Alex also made the sign which says “Heathcote Arcade.”

One day we had a substitute for school Mr. Nesser. He showed us a video of Caine’s arcade. It inspired us because he made an arcade and people actually came and played the cardboard arcade games. A few days later, we had Art class. We all decided that we wanted to make an arcade. At first it was all of the boys. Our first game was a slingshot game. We all had to commit to it so we are actually going to do it and be a success. The next art class I quit because we weren’t making enough games and we didn’t have all of the supplies we needed to make them. But when the whole class joined,(the girls) they got a lot done. I then decided that I should do it. We had to make a plan of how many games we are going to make in a certain amount of time. So we went and discussed that we have to make 2 games in 1 month. We had to at least have two big games. After that we were making games like crazy. We have at least 4 games done and 2 that are being worked on.
