Animate Your Name

This is my first blog post for the 4th quarterly, Computer tech. For the first post, I will talk about the Week 4&5 project, “ Animate Your Name”. Well, you might be wondering, What in the world is that?? This is a project using this app called Scratch which is an app used for coding. In the project, I learned how to move our letters of our first name freely with sound and make them appear in a really cool way:)
At first, the project was called “ Orange square, purple circle” but we changed the project once we finished that. I incorporated an orange square and a purple cicle into my project by making them move around the whole square in circles. This idea, of course, came from my teacher, Mr. Rose. However, my own project came from my own idea. The most suprising thing that happened while making this project was that it was easier to put the broadcast code. I chose my letters font in colors of blue, white, and gold because I thought that those colors will match together really well. I inserted 4 types of music in my project and all of the music are really cool😎. I really liked Rebecca’s project as its music really matched her style and also her letters were beautifully expressed. What was most challenging about this activity was making th letters move and stop when the next letter was moving. I had a very hard time trying to figure out, therefore, today, I asked Mr. Rose for help. Then, he kindly helped me on what to do, and his advice was really helpful. Thank you Mr. Rose!
