Thirty seconds left. You are staring down at your 20×9 challenge and you are looking at the number 3. How do you get 20 by only using operations and sixs 3’s? You think that all hope is lost. 20 seconds left. You remember you can use fractions! You think 3+3×3+3-3/3! Time’s up!. You figure it out just in time. Today I am going to tell you my experiences in the first week of school, such as the 20×9 challenge. You will also hear about the things I am looking forward to, such as the Halloween party.
There were so many things that I enjoyed in Sept 2023 such as the 20×9 activity this past week because it had the perfect mixture of fun and challenge. On top of that, I also enjoyed it because it changed my perspective on challenges positively. I found it not too easy but not too challenging. Plus, I liked the four-fours challenge for the same reasons as the 20×9. It was fun just putting random 4’s down with random operations and actually getting answers. I also liked it when I wrote a letter to myself in the future because I will be able to compare how I felt about certain subjects in the past with how I will feel about them in the future. Also, it will allow me to see improvement in my writing through the fifth grade.
Now I am looking forward to a lot of things, such as the Halloween party because Halloween is my 2nd favorite day. I really love Halloween because I can dress up as whatever I want. It gives me the freedom to be whoever I want to be. I also am excited because I have never been to an “actual” party that is not a birthday party. I am also looking forward to the Teacher vs. Kids Volleyball Game because I love sports and I rarely get to play volleyball. I want to show the teachers that the kids are better. No offense, Mrs. Cooper. Volleyball will also keep me healthy and stretch my body. In addition, I am riled up for the ropes trip because ropes courses are usually high up and I get an adrenaline rush every time I am up in the air. This is a chance to use my upper body strength because I am the Hulk in disguise
So, I have shared my favorite things from the month of September 2023. There is a good chance that if I wrote this at the end of the year, it would be as long as Harry Potter And The Order of the Phoenix. Why? Because there would be so many fun things that happened by then. What is your favorite thing about your school activity?
