If you like books with mean characters who become very funny, silly, and weird, you should definitely read The Adventures of Captain Underpants! I think this book deserves The Weird Award. One weird part is when Principal Krupp gets hypnotised with the 3D Hypno ring by his students George and Harold. George and Harold have to do weird chores for their principal, such as waking up early to clean his car, but they are trying to avoid them. So they turn Krupp into Captain Underpants.  He’ll stay Captain Underpants as he doesn’t break the spell by snapping his fingers. Another part that I like is when Captain Underpants says, ”Tra-laa-laa!” and he says it a lot!  Isn’t this all just so weird? Captain Underpants also thinks that he’s so strong but he’s not a strong superhero. To find out more about how funny, silly, and weird Captain Underpants is, I recommend that you read this epic book series by Dav Pilkey.  You’ll probably want to read another book in the series right away!
